Each club in The Bouncr gives a Discord role. Your channel permissions decide what that role can see; The Bouncr decides who has it.

What counts
Roles for what members hold
Gate a role on one token or combine several rules. The Bouncr reads holdings from the chain itself, so a role means the member really holds what it says.
- Tokens on any supported chain, with the amount you choose.
- NFTs, including Solana compressed NFTs and specific traits.
- Staking: SOL staked to your validator, liquid staking like JitoSOL, and staking and vesting contracts, counted with the wallet balance.
- Snapshot votes, allowlists and roles, combined with any-of groups.

How does Discord token gating work?
Each club gives a Discord role. Members link a wallet by signing a message, and The Bouncr gives the role to the people who meet the rule. It checks again on a schedule. When a member no longer qualifies, they are warned first, then your team reviews them, or the role is taken back automatically if you switch that on.
Do I set up channel permissions myself?
Yes. You decide what each role can see in your server. The Bouncr's own role needs to sit above the roles it manages in your server's role list, and the setup guide walks you through it.
Which chains can a Discord role be gated on?
Over 30: Ethereum and EVM chains such as Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain and Avalanche, plus Solana, TON, XRP Ledger and Bitcoin balances.
Do members have to share a private key?
No. Members prove a wallet by signing a message, which cannot move funds. The Bouncr never asks for a private key or seed phrase.
What happens when a member sells?
They see a warning and a grace window first. If they stay below the rule, your team reviews them, or the role and the channels it opened are taken back automatically if you switch that on.
Does it work with Telegram and X as well?
Telegram works today, with one account per member and one set of rules across both; running both needs the Pro or Business plan. X group chats are coming soon.
