Moderation and token gating for X group chats
X group chats are planned as The Bouncr's third platform, next to Telegram and Discord. Join the early-access list to hear first when they open.
Why X group chats
A new place, the same problems
Communities are starting to gather in X group chats. They bring the same needs they have on Telegram and Discord: keeping the room to holders, stopping scam links and fake support accounts, and handling a sudden wave of joins. The tools to do that in X group chats are still thin, and that is the gap The Bouncr plans to fill.
What's planned
- Token gating with the same clubs and rules you use on Telegram and Discord.
- Moderation built around what X group chats allow, run from the same queue as your other rooms.
- One room across platforms: bridge an X group chat with a Telegram group and a Discord channel.
- X alone or together: run a community on X only, or add it to Telegram and Discord.
- Rules about following your X account, next to holdings.
Available today
Start on Telegram and Discord now
Everything planned for X already runs on Telegram and Discord: token gating on 30+ chains, moderation with AI that acts only as far as you allow, a help desk and paid clubs. The plan is for a community set up today to add X group chats when they open, with its members, clubs and rules carried over.
- One account per member, one set of rules.
- Scam links taken down with AI moderation on (Basic and up), and the poster told why in a note only they can open.
- Impersonators banned when they rename to look like your moderators.
- A warning and a grace window before anyone loses access.
