Telegram token gating
Token gating for Telegram groups
Let holders into your Telegram group and keep it that way, automatically. The Bouncr checks each member's wallet against the rules you set, on 30+ chains.
How it works · ● Live
Members link a wallet once. The Bouncr does the rest.
A member opens your community's Hub inside Telegram, links a wallet by signing a message, and sees which clubs they qualify for. Each club opens your Telegram groups to the people who meet its rule.
- A way into each group from the member's Hub, once they qualify.
- Checked again on a schedule, so access follows the wallet.
- A warning and a grace window before anyone is removed. If a chain can't be read, access is held until it can.

What counts
The rules your group needs
Gate a Telegram group on one token or combine several rules. The Bouncr reads holdings from the chain itself, so the group sees what members really own.
- Tokens on any supported chain, with the amount you choose.
- NFTs, including Solana compressed NFTs and specific traits.
- Staking: SOL staked to your validator, liquid staking like JitoSOL, and staking and vesting contracts, counted with the wallet balance.
- Snapshot votes, allowlists and roles, combined with any-of groups.
Built for Telegram
More than a gate
The same place that decides who gets in also keeps the group safe and answers members' questions.
- A Telegram Mini App, so members never leave Telegram.
- On paid plans: clubs by card or crypto, and Telegram Stars through your own bot.
- Moderation in the same dashboard: impersonators banned from every room. With AI moderation on (Basic and up), scam links are taken down and the poster is told why in a note only they can open. With raid protection on, new members are muted automatically during a sudden wave of joins.
- Your bot or ours: use The Bouncr's bot, or connect your own on Basic and up, with guided setup.
- Discord too, with one account per member across both. X group chats are coming soon.
Questions
Common questions
How does token gating work in a Telegram group?
You set a rule, such as holding 1,000 of a token or one NFT from a collection. Members link a wallet in your community's Hub inside Telegram, and The Bouncr lets in the people who meet the rule. It checks again on a schedule, so access follows what members hold.
Which chains can a Telegram group be gated on?
Over 30: Ethereum and EVM chains such as Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain and Avalanche, plus Solana, TON, XRP Ledger and Bitcoin balances.
Do members have to share a private key?
No. Members prove a wallet by signing a message, which cannot move funds. The Bouncr never asks for a private key or seed phrase.
What happens when a member sells?
They see a warning and a grace window first. If they stay below the rule, your team reviews them, or they are removed from the group automatically if you switch that on. If a chain can't be read for a while, nobody is removed until it can.
Can staked tokens count?
Yes. Staked and vesting tokens count with the wallet balance, including SOL staked to a validator and liquid staking tokens like JitoSOL.
Does it work with Discord and X as well?
Discord works today, with one account per member and one set of rules across both; running both needs the Pro or Business plan. X group chats are coming soon.
